Feel free to browse. Farm Photography This is the best way to get quality photos of you and your horses. Unlike horse shows, getting good photographs is our main goal and we can do what it takes to be successful. Hunter and Jumper I grew up riding hunters and have photographed Hunter & Jumper shows in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Washington D.C. and Michigan. I may have missed some states but you get the idea. Carriage Competition I first photographed a carriage competition in 1978 at the Rochester (NY) International Horse Show. I was very impressed and for years was a member of the carriage society. I have also photographed Carriage exhibitions at horse shows in Minnesota, the Washington International, and at Busch Farms in St. Louis. Saddle Horses Saddle Horse shows were some of my favorite events. The excitement, music, and the bold presence of the horses combined to make photographing saddle horses a thrilling experience. There is a real sense of satisfaction in capturing a saddle horse at the height of his stride. Dressage There is a real challenge to photographing a dressage horse in such a way that one can see the subtle skill that they demonstrate. Although I have only photographed a few dressage horse shows (many years ago at Lamplight and some in Wisconsin) or dressage demonstrations (Washington International), I find the experience very interesting.
